Brandy Colbert is an American author of young adult fiction and nonfiction. In 2018, her novel Little & Lion won the Stonewall Book Award for children's and young adult literature. In 2022, her nonfiction book Black Birds in the Sky won the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award for Nonfiction.
